Endura Security is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to help build the primary interface for our runtime security platform. You will work across React, TypeScript, and Vite to turn complex pipeline, policy, and violation data into fast, clear, and highly usable workflows for security and engineering teams.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building polished product experiences on top of technically deep systems.
About the role
You will take ownership of major parts of the Endura web application, including pipeline views, policy management, violation triage, analytics, configuration, access control, and integrations.
You will work closely with backend engineers to shape clean API contracts and with product stakeholders to turn security workflows into interfaces that feel intuitive instead of overwhelming.
This is a senior, high-ownership role. You will influence frontend architecture, component patterns, application performance, testing strategy, accessibility, and the overall quality bar for the product.
What you will do
- Build and maintain product features using React, TypeScript, and Vite.
- Own complex workflows for pipelines, builds, policies, violations, deployments, and integrations.
- Design clear interfaces for triaging runtime security events and understanding why policy decisions occurred.
- Build configuration experiences for policy management, notifications, access control, and platform administration.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define well-typed, predictable REST API contracts.
- Develop reusable components and patterns that keep the application consistent as the product grows.
- Improve application performance, bundle size, rendering behavior, and perceived load time.
- Build responsive interfaces that work well across a wide range of screen sizes and environments.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for critical workflows.
- Improve accessibility and ensure the application meets modern web standards.
- Contribute to design-system decisions and help translate visual design into durable product patterns.
- Debug issues across browser behavior, frontend state, API interactions, and asynchronous workflows.
- Participate in technical planning, architecture decisions, code reviews, and frontend standards.
- Help shape how complex security data is presented so users can move quickly from signal to action.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Vite or similar modern frontend tooling.
- Strong understanding of browser fundamentals, rendering behavior, and web performance.
- Experience building complex, data-rich applications rather than primarily static marketing interfaces.
- Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of frontend state management, asynchronous data flows, and error handling.
- Experience building reusable component systems and maintaining consistent UI patterns.
- Strong attention to detail in interaction design, layout, accessibility, and usability.
- Experience writing robust frontend tests across unit, integration, or end-to-end layers.
- Strong debugging skills across frontend, API, and browser boundaries.
- Ability to take a product problem from rough requirements through implementation and refinement.
- Comfort working independently in a small engineering organization where frontend decisions have meaningful product impact.
Beneficial skills to have
- Experience building security products, developer tools, observability platforms, or infrastructure software.
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Radix UI, or similar component systems.
- Experience with data visualization libraries such as Recharts, D3, ECharts, or similar tooling.
- Experience presenting high-volume event, log, or telemetry data in usable interfaces.
- Familiarity with virtualized lists, large tables, filtering, search, and complex drill-down workflows.
- Experience building policy editors, configuration interfaces, or schema-driven forms.
- Familiarity with Monaco Editor or other embedded code-editing components.
- Experience building role-based or permission-aware user interfaces.
- Knowledge of CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, TeamCity, or Bamboo.
- Familiarity with application security, software supply chain security, or runtime security concepts.
- Experience with WebSockets, server-sent events, or other real-time frontend data patterns.
- Experience improving accessibility in complex web applications.
What you will get
- Significant ownership over the user experience of Endura Team Server.
- Direct influence over frontend architecture, interaction patterns, and product quality.
- The opportunity to turn technically complex security workflows into experiences users can understand quickly.
- Close collaboration with engineers working across Rust, Linux, eBPF, CI/CD, infrastructure, and security policy.
- A small engineering environment with minimal bureaucracy and a high degree of technical autonomy.
- The ability to help define frontend standards and design-system patterns while the product is still evolving.
- Meaningful input into product direction rather than simply implementing completed specifications.
Why join our team
Endura is building a runtime security platform for modern software delivery. That means the frontend has to do more than display dashboards. It has to help users understand what happened inside a build, why an action was blocked, how policy should change, and what needs attention next.
The interface is where kernel-level telemetry, pipeline context, policy, and response come together.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will have the opportunity to shape that experience from the ground up. If you enjoy React, TypeScript, thoughtful product design, complex data, and making technically deep systems feel simple to use, this is the kind of work you will find here.
